If you are the victim of abuse you do whatever it takes to protect yourself, whether it be a man hitting a woman or woman hitting a man. (The reason why society sees hitting a man as acceptable is because of patriarchy. This is a feminist issue.)  But the image is speaking about domestic violence towards women.

Stop derailing the fucking issue and interjecting your penis into an argument and making everything about men jesus fucking christ.

Hey chill i said that people shouldn’t hit others in the first place and yeah women are abused which is the biggest issue but that doesn’t make it the only one. And as much as might annoy you, things can be about men as well. Feminism is about equality which means issues with men is just as important.

This is important. There’s feminism and then there is equality. Putting woman higher than man is just as wrong as putting man above woman. If you can justify a woman hitting a man, then you can justify a man hitting a woman, and alot of people don’t see this. 

This is a stupid fucking post. 

The commenter is making fun of feminism, not making any intellectual point. Yes, women shouldn’t hit men either, but recognizing physiological differences, such as average body structure, isn’t sexist. Men tend to run larger than women and usually have more muscle. A woman punching a man usually doesn’t have the same impact. (I am tired of qualifying everything with adverbs but people will get on my ass about it.) 

In the context of actual reality, when women are more likely to die once they get married and domestic violence is one of the main killers of women, the message here is “There’s no excuse for abuse.” Also, the woman in the picture is putting her hand up and looks scared. How do you miss the context like wow you’re dumb.

If anyone pulls a knife on you, do what you must to survive. However, the commenter is missing the message on purpose and just being a sexist prick.
